About

More information about me.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Roma brings a keen understanding of the diverse local market as well as a long-held love for architecture, beautiful homes and gourmet kitchens. She is known for her compassionate, hands-on approach and in-depth knowledge of L.A.’s distinct neighborhoods and regions, from the Valley and West L.A. to Downtown and South Bay. Roma is known amongst her peers and her clients for her integrity and easy-going personality. Having worked in Entertainment Production at Warner Bros. Studios for a decade prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, she has a comprehensive knowledge of the art of buying and selling, having dealt with high-level studio executives, producers, production companies, vendors and the artists themselves. With a BA in Human Resource Management, she’s very sensitive to client satisfaction and excels in the art of problem solving for any obstacle that arises during a real estate transaction. Her greatest attribute she possesses is the art of listening. Her clients’ wants, needs and dreams are her focus, and she’ll do everything in her power to make those desires happen. She is a Top Producing Broker’s Associate at Sotheby’s International Realty who has closed many transactions that have left her clients speechless – they were literally convinced the deal with fall through – but because she also takes great care of developing a relationship with the other agent involved in the sale, the relationships she cultivates contribute to overcoming transactional obstacles. Roma is married to Oscar Award Winning Visual Effects Supervisor Eric Barba. They have two adult children, Nicolette and Cole. Nicolette is a Figure Skating Instructor while Cole serves in Law Enforcement. When she’s not representing clients in Real Estate, Roma enjoys spending time with her family, and can usually be found cooking and baking in her kitchen, working on recipes for her food blog or playing in her garden with her Pug, Leroy. She’s a huge foodie and can always recommend a place for good grub in and around the various neighborhoods of LA!
