Robyn Biener has been immersed in the real estate business her entire life. Her family owned a well-established real estate brokerage in Florida while she was growing up, and she was enchanted with the idea of being her own boss while helping people achieve the dream of homeownership. Robyn graduated from Boston University with a BA degree in psychology and then started her real estate career in 1980. She holds a probate/trust specialist designation, is a Certified Relocation Specialist, and is a member if Luxury Real Estate and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. She is married with two young adult children and enjoys exercise, yoga, book club, knitting and gardening. Robyn is involved in her community, as an associate member of Sandpipers, donating to various beach city education foundations, supporting local churches and synagogues, and participating in various cancer fundraisers. What would you like potential clients to know about you? "I am a straight shooter-honest, hard-working, and I approach everything objectively, with an open mind." What does it take to be the best in the business? "Communication, follow-through, commitment and integrity." What do your clients love about living in the South Bay? "They love our great schools, the parent involvement, the relaxed beach atmosphere, great restaurants and shops, the fresh air and proximity to the airport." Who is your typical client? "Referrals, repeat clients, first-time buyers and empty-nesters." In what ways do you provide top-notch service to your clients? "Communication is key. Staying in touch long after the deal is done and always trying to exceed expectations." What's most rewarding about your work? "Helping people achieve their dreams and helping through changes that may occur in their lives." What keeps you interested in real estate? "With all the various personalities we encounter comes a different set of circumstances. Each transaction is different and brings different challenges." Tell us about your team. "My real estate partner, Alicia Greene, and I have been a team for 31 of the 35 years of my real estate career. There are many teams in the South Bay, and we have been the same for the longest. We each bring to the table different perspectives with a similar balance to how we approach situations. We surround ourselves with an excellent support group that includes our marketing guy, escrow and title officers, and the great staff at Vista SIR."
