After earning a degree in radio/television from Southern Illinois University, Susie Williamson worked in the film industry and then for AMC Theatres before taking time off to start a family. She had long been interested in architecture and design, so when she went back to work, real estate was a natural fit. Susie grew up in the San Fernando Valley, lived in the Playa Del Rey/Westchester area for 15 years, and now resides in Redondo Beach. She is married with two children and enjoys seeing movies, taking driving vacations, helping animals and spending time with friends. What would you like potential clients to know about you? I'm hard-working and committed to helping them. My clients appreciate my dedication, loyalty, and honesty. For clients with children, I have personal experience with public, private and charter schools on the Westside and South Bay and therefore can provide them with invaluable experience and guidance when choosing a home with schools in mind. Who is your typical client? I help a lot of first-time buyers who are young professionals as well as young families. I also help those who want to downsize or upsize, or sell their home and buy a home that suits their current lifestyle. In what ways do you provide top-notch service to your clients? By actually answering my phone, returning messages within hours, and being personally involved with every aspect of the transaction. Buying a home is not only exciting but can be extremely stressful, and I always make myself available to my clients any time they need me-which brings great comfort during each step of the transaction. My top-notch service includes being detail-oriented, persistent, enthusiastic and always putting my clients' needs first. What keeps you interested in real estate? I enjoy viewing all different types of homes and bringing ideas to my clients to help them visualize what their new home can be in the future. I love the challenge of finding the right home and getting it for my clients. In which area of real estate do you specialize? Residential sales (single-family homes, condos/townhomes, and 1-4 unit buildings). The majority of my business is being a buyer's agent. Because I'm familiar with the South Bay, Westside and San Fernando Valley, I am able to extend my services to accommodate buyers or sellers in multiple areas and still provide exceptional knowledge and service. In addition, I’m involved in the niche market of finding, remodeling, and re-selling updated homes in the Los Angeles area.
